Ours spells out the words “The Fair,” a regional department store also in business on Main Street in Round Rock. A lovely open mezzanine exposes what originally functioned as the air conditioning system of the day: a 10 x 10 foot skylight. The original pine wood floor, formerly concealed and fortunately well-preserved by three layers of linoleum and other flooring, now cover a full 2800 square feet of the store at street level.
